Dear Friends and Family,

I hope your year is off to a great start. Mine is and as you may or may not know I am involved with a women’s organization in town, the Junior League of Lynchburg and our annual fund-raiser the Ducky Dash & Derby is just around the corner. It will be held on May 1st at a local park in town with a Kids Fun Run ( Dash) for ages 13 & under and there will be a floating Rubber Ducky Race!

If you are not aware of what a Rubber Ducky Race is image 2,500 little yellow ducks ( with numbers on their bottoms) racing down a creek for 1/2 mile. It is very cute and fun to watch, but more importantly there are prizes for the winning ducks.
1st duck to cross the finish line wins $1,000
2nd duck to cross wins $500
3rd duck to cross wins $250
and
the last duck to cross ( the lame duck) wins $250.

Wouldn't you like to win a little bit of cash without even having to be at this exciting race? Well, if so, I wanted to let you know that we are selling these little ducks.
1 for $5 or 6 for $25 (You receive a certificate of adoption for your ducky number.)

The money raised will go towards the Junior League's projects throughout Central Virginia.

If you would like to purchase some ducks, please let me know. Our goal is to sell all 2,500 ducks and your help is greatly appreciated.
